MEDICAL INDUSTRY CLUSTER
01 about
Most transportation and supply chain professionals know me as "Bill from Fedex". It's no wonder since I spent much of my career growing economic regions with Fedex and most recently supporting the development of their healthcare market and operations.
Now, I am William "Bill" Goins the Executive Director of Access to Solutions.

02 my approach
As a 30+ year industry veteran, I have seen the growth and evolution of supply chain management and how transportation infrastructure can positively impact flow and delivery of goods and people. I appreciate the opportunity to support the convening of industry leaders, and encourage the curation of the meaningful conversations that arise.

03 economic development
Today's medical industry supply chain needs improved transportation infrastructure to ensure high value products get to where they need to be used in a controlled end to end process.
Regions need formalized economic development strategies to ensure alignment of the collective of development projects in process originating from government and industry.
The medical industry cluster plays a vital role in the global competitiveness of Minnesota. Home to "Medical Alley", Minnesota's Twin Cities region and greater Minnesota have a significant health care presence (also know as "linked industries".)
How surface and air transportation intersect and impact the medical industry cluster is a crucial conversation to be conducted with varied regional leaders and stakeholders.
This is where Access to Solutions comes in.
